However, we understand that business needs change, and our contracts include reasonable notice periods and flexibility provisions. Shorter trial periods can be discussed for new relationships.
F&T Freight manages all vehicle maintenance, servicing, registration, and compliance requirements. This is included in the dedicated fleet rate. You benefit from a fully maintained, compliant vehicle without any of the administrative or financial burden of fleet ownership. If a vehicle is off-road for servicing, we provide a substitute.
Yes. Dedicated fleet vehicles can be branded with your company livery, giving your customers the impression of dealing directly with your own fleet. Branding costs are typically borne by the client and applied via removable signage or wraps that can be updated or removed at contract end without damaging the vehicle.
We maintain a pool of trained relief drivers who can step in when your regular driver is unavailable. Relief drivers are briefed on your specific requirements and procedures before their first day with your account. For planned absences (annual leave), we arrange handover briefings to ensure service continuity.
Dedicated fleet is typically priced as a fixed daily or weekly rate covering the vehicle, driver, fuel, maintenance, and insurance. This provides budget certainty regardless of how many deliveries are completed each day. The rate is determined by vehicle type, operating hours, and expected daily kilometres. Additional charges may apply for significant excess kilometres beyond agreed parameters.
